Pure Tape – reduced plastic material by 75%
Pure Tape is the first of its kind among sustainable packaging tapes. Its core fibers are composed of cellulose, a natural raw material. Pure Tape extends the Lemtapes commitment to meeting demanding packaging needs, like sturdy handles, while lowering the carbon footprint of the total package. Our target is a 100 % biodegradable product, as imperceptible in nature as in packaging.

Eco Tape – Strong and sustainable
Eco Tape is a forerunner in the field of environment-friendly packaging tapes. It’s made of recycled materials for reduced CO2 emissions and enhanced quality to meet demanding packaging needs, such as handles. Eco Tape is imperceptible in packaging – and in nature. Eco Tape reinforces cardboard packaging in a sustainable yet durable manner. Using Eco Tape also reduces the amount of other material needed for packaging, which lowers production costs.

Lemtapes Oy participated in FEFCO Technical Seminar during 9-11th October 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland. The European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers (FEFCO) is a non-profit organisation representing the interests of the industry across Europe and addressing a wide range of issues, from technical topics to economical questions.
FEFCO organizes a technical seminar every 2 years. In the Seminar the suppliers and producers of corrugated industry explore and present the new possibilities and innovations of this sector.
Lemtapes Oy won the category of sustainability presenting their new innovative product, Pure Tape, that replaces the plastic PET fibers used in a reinforcement tape with cellulose based fibers.
